Warframe receives official Ukrainian localization

The game Warframe by UNLOCTEAM will receive Ukrainian localization. This project has been in development for many years, and thanks to the support of Ukrainian employees at Digital Extremes, success has been achieved.

Warframe is a free-to-play multiplayer online game that combines elements of action/RPG and third-person shooter genres. The game unfolds in a fantastical world where various factions vie for control over the Solar System.

Players take on the role of Tenno—ancient warriors who pilot “Warframes” from a distance, equipped with a variety of weapons and abilities. Warframe gameplay combines shooting, melee combat, parkour, and RPG elements—allowing players to upgrade their character’s equipment.

Currently, the Ukrainian localization of Warframe is only available for PC and can be installed and launched via Steam.

UNLOCTEAM claims that certification work for the Ukrainian localization on Xbox and PlayStation consoles has already begun. Most likely, the Ukrainian version will be available on these platforms before the next major game update, which is coming soon. The Ukrainian region can be expected to appear on Nintendo Switch in the future.

The UNLOCTEAM is also working on translating the website and the official Warframe Companion App into Ukrainian. The Ukrainian version of the app is expected by the New Year. Additionally, the team is working on filling and supporting the Ukrainian Wikipedia page for the game.
