GTA 5: new sprint mechanics

GTA 6 is still on hold, but that doesn’t mean that GTA 5 is no longer interesting. Rockstar recently shared information about the summer update called “San Andreas Mercenaries”, which introduces several interesting innovations.

One of the most important changes that Rockstar has made is an alternative way to control running on consoles. A news story on the Rockstar Games Newswire site reports that the update will include a feature that allows players to hold down the “X” button to run, instead of having to constantly press it and strain their fingers.

But that’s not all that awaits players in GTA Online. The update will also allow all destroyed cars to be returned to Mors Mutual Insurance at once, without having to rebuild them one at a time.

Although the changes are minor, it’s nice to see that Rockstar really pays attention to fans’ opinions and fixes bugs, even after a long time.

And finally, players will be able to get rid of the excruciating waiting and pain in their thumbs already on June 13, when the update for GTA Online will be released.
