Due to High GTA Online Revenue, Developers Are in No Hurry to Make Grand Theft Auto 6

The ICS-digital service revealed how many video games rake in profits for their developers. They’ve compiled a shortlist of titles that are making the big bucks, and these numbers are climbing daily—some even hourly in certain games.

It’s worth noting that the list includes not just GTA games (Grand Theft Auto Online), but also Call of Duty, Animal Crossing, and even Cyberpunk 2077.

Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online managed to pull in more than $911 million just last year. That means the game is on track to outdo itself this year. Daily, the game brings in a whopping 2.5 million rubles.

Sure, GTA Online isn’t topping the list, but the revenue is nothing to sneeze at. It makes more sense for developers to stick with what’s working rather than diluting their profits with new projects.
