Dota 2 update March 10, 2023
The Dota 2 team congratulates Gaimin Gladiators on their incredible victory at the Lima Major. Last weekend, they managed to beat 17 of the best teams from around the world, for which they receive 400 qualifying points – a strong start on the road to The International.
The 2023 season will continue with the spring tour starting March 13th and ending at the ESL Berlin Major in late April.
Support Club
Support your favorite team by joining its support club. We’ve added the first few bundles today, but more fan-made content awaits you in the coming days.
Teams that contribute content to the Cheerleading Club receive 50% of the sales of their kit. The number of rewards that fans receive increases with the bundle rank they purchase:
Bronze
- Favorite team logo displayed on the in-game friends list, profile, opponents screen, and scoreboard (by purchasing multiple supporter packs, you can choose your favorite team yourself).
- 1 set of fantasy league team cards.
- 1 regular fantasy league card set.
Silver
- All Bronze rank perks.
- Team graffiti and loading screens.
- 2 sets of fantasy league team cards.
- 6 common fantasy league card sets.
Gold
- All privileges of the previous categories.
- Chat wheel sounds and team emoticons, as well as their logo next to the health bar in the game.
- 3 sets of fantasy league team cards.
- 7 regular fantasy league card sets.
Note: Content is added to the game as teams submit it to us.

If this is your first time participating in a fantasy league or if you have forgotten the rules, let me remind you of them before you start opening card sets. All the details can be found in the “How to play” menu in the “Fantasy” section.
Basics
For each weekly period, fans create a fantasy team of two starting players, one mid player, and two support players. Players whose cards you have placed in your fantasy team earn points based on their performance during this period. Additional points are given for bonuses of silver and gold cards.
Card sets
All players receive 10 Starter Packs, which can be picked up in the Pro Season section of the View tab. Additional sets of player cards can be earned every day by winning in Dota. Team Packs that have already been sent to us and added to the game can be purchased directly from the Player Cards tab in the View section.
When you open a pack, you will receive player cards from your chosen region.
Regional fantasy leagues
Each professional region has its own fantasy league with separate player cards and a unique composition of participants. You can participate in multiple regional leagues and earn fantasy tiers based on your best performance across all fantasy leagues in each period. For example, if you finish in the top 10% of one league and the top 50% of another, you will earn points for finishing in the top 10%. Regional rewards are not cumulative.
At the end of each period, you will receive levels depending on the number of fantasy points for this period. Rewards are given for reaching a certain fantasy level.
Match points
All Division I games during the 2023 Spring Tour are part of the Fantasy League. When playing up to two wins, only the results of the two best games are taken into account. If a team plays more than one match during a period, only the highest score counts.
Players ranked in the top 100%/50%/25%/10% by points will receive 1/2/3/4 fantasy levels respectively. For each level, 350 fragments are given, but for every fourth – as much as 700.
