Disabling controller sound on the PS4.

One of the main features of the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller is the presence of a built-in speaker. The developers of the PS4 included it to add details and sound effects that make the gaming experience more dynamic. The controller also features vibration and backlighting. If you don’t want to enjoy the sound, you can turn it off to save battery power.

You can do this through the quick menu by pressing and holding the PS button in the center of the controller. This will open the menu, and you should select “Sound and Devices.” Then, you’ll see the “Volume Control” option, and you can adjust the sound according to your preferences.

You can also turn off the sound through the configuration or settings menu. On the main screen, select “Configuration” or “Settings.” In the open menu, choose “Devices,” then “Controller,” and there you will find the option to adjust the volume for the controller’s speaker. Simply press the left button to disable the speaker sound.
