iPhone 14 release date

iPhone 13 was released September 14, 2021, as practice shows the next representative appears a year later. Today at Apple’s presentation the iPhone 14 release date will be announced in the world, Russia. It may not even be September, as the iPhone 14 model may lag behind its representatives and be sold a little later, largely due to quarantine measures in China. Let’s hope that the rumors about the bad camera in the iPhone 14 is just a rumor.

Recall that earlier (in March) this year there was an event from Apple and then nothing was said about the iPhone 14. Then fans of the line were pleased that they showed the long-awaited iPhone SE 3 and the new iPad Air.

iPhone 14 price

If you remember the old standard prices of the past lineup: iPhone 13 costs from $799, we expect the iPhone 14 will be sold at a similar price.

More recently (in early August), Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo warned that the average selling price of the iPhone 14 line will be up 15% over the last series. That means the price of the iPhone 14 will be $100 to $150 more expensive than the iPhone 13.

The standard iPhone 14 will cost $799, the same as the standard iPhone 13. Only the more expensive models will be affected by the price increase.

June 2022 insider ShrimpApplePro reveals iPhone 14 battery specs:

  • iPhone 14: 3279 mAh (iPhone 13 is 3227 mAh)
  • iPhone 14 Max: 4325 mAh
  • iPhone 14 Pro: 3200 mAh (iPhone 13 Pro: 3095 mAh)
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4323 mAh (iPhone 3 Pro Max – 4352 mAh)

Many unofficial sites have started posting that the iPhone 14 Pro, Max and Pro Max will have three cameras. I would like to point out that the standard version of the iPhone 14 with two lenses.

Everyone is waiting for the specifics of the iPhone to change. Famous Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo said that the manufacturer will add a new 48 megapixel lens to the iPhone 14 Pro model, if so, then this is a huge leap into the future and compared to the 12 megapixel camera base iPhone 13 Pro.

The enhanced lens is needed to support augmented and mixed reality applications in resolutions from 8K to 16K. Apple has been planning to release a mixed reality headset for a very long time, so we expect to see one this year.

Ming-Chi Kuo is also convinced that all four 2022 iPhones will support 8K video recording — a first for Apple. Samsung’s Galaxy S smartphones already support 8K recording, so Apple is somewhat behind in this regard.
