In the final edition of Mafia, the user plays as Tommy, a taxi driver working in a large city known as Lost Heaven. A chance encounter with the mafia pushes taxi driver Tommy Angelo into the world of organized crime. Initially, he didn’t want to get involved with the Salieri family, but the reward was too big to pass up.
In the end, Tommy rises through the ranks. All of this is told through retrospective shots, with an older Tommy talking to a detective about his life and all the crimes he committed or witnessed. This new remake stays true to the original story. The script has been improved, and the actors are great, but the overall plot and missions remain the same.
Instead of the clunky original control system and flat city landscape, the new version uses significantly improved gameplay. Driving and shooting have been enhanced, and the characters have incredibly expressive faces. The game features early 20th-century cityscapes that intensify the drama of tense conversations and provide joy in walking the streets.
The game offers immersion in an extensive, diverse world ruled by the mafia and corrupt officials. The gameplay features richly detailed views, high-quality sound design, and an emotionally tense social atmosphere from one of the most turbulent periods in American history.

This third-person shooter is the third installment in the franchise. The game was developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games on October 7, 2016, for Windows, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, with a Mac version becoming available on May 11, 2017.
