You can play Vanguard for free.

Heads up, FPS enthusiasts! Vanguard is opening its doors for a free play weekend! From November 18th to 22nd, gamers can dive into the action-packed world of Vanguard without spending a dime.

Initially, my gamer’s pride took a hit—why so soon after release? Could a discount be lurking around the corner? But then the strategist in me kicked in. This move is a brilliant play to boost game sales, especially with the recent release of free-to-play Halo and the full-scale launch of Battlefield 2042 (no more early access woes).

On the upside, this free play weekend is likely to coincide with a substantial patch. Launching a game riddled with bugs would be a marketing faux pas of epic proportions.

Moreover, I see this as a tactical move. Activision likely aims to flaunt impressive sales figures for Vanguard’s first month. Otherwise, why risk diverting players from ongoing Warzone events?
