Beastcoast Triumphs Over Evil Geniuses at BetBoom Dacha!

Beastcoast defeated Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket of the BetBoom Dacha playoffs, ending the match with a 2-1 score. Next up, they’ll face the winner of the TSM vs 9 Pandas matchup. Unfortunately for EG, this marks the end of the road for them as they finish in 5th-6th place and exit the tournament.

The first map started off promisingly for Evil Geniuses. Chris Luck on Invoker did an excellent job, taking down Storm Spirit in the mid-lane. However, something went awry, and the impact of EG’s mid-laner dwindled as the game progressed. JimPark on Morphling, who was somehow overlooked by the “Evil Geniuses,” simply dominated the game. Let’s be honest, the Beastcoast guys left no chance for EG and forced them to surrender.

The second map was absolutely lit! Both teams went all-in, and the advantage kept swinging back and forth. But in the end, after a battle for Roshan and securing the Aegis, Beastcoast couldn’t close out the game. JimPark froze and couldn’t press a single button, and voila — the team got wiped out without buybacks. EG happily finished the game, tying the score at 1-1.

The third map? Yes, it was no less thrilling! Evil Geniuses started strong, but Beastcoast managed to make a comeback on their high ground. JimPark on Terrorblade farmed up nicely, and PA no longer seemed threatening. Eventually, Beastcoast turned the game around and sent the “Evil Geniuses” packing.

As for the BetBoom Dacha tournament itself, it’s taking place in Yerevan, Armenia, from September 10th to 16th. The prize pool? A whopping $250,000! The organizers promise a ton of exciting content, so keep an eye on the Twitch stream through the FISSURE studio and its partners – NS and Nix.

As you can see, the match was simply incredible! Beastcoast moves on, and we can’t wait for the next games. What do you think, who will be Beastcoast’s next opponent? Share your thoughts in the comments!
