Fallout 76 in 2022: Alien Invasion and a Journey to Pittsburgh.
Fallout 76 in 2022: Alien Invasion, Journey to Pittsburgh, and More.
Fallout 76 is another example of a game that received extremely negative reviews at launch but developers didn’t abandon the project and continue to develop it over several years. However, unlike No Man’s Sky, Fallout 76 has been less fortunate, with the majority of players still holding negative opinions about the game as a whole. Nevertheless, Bethesda Game Studios is not giving up, and the developer has revealed the game’s development plan for 2022.
There are a total of four seasonal updates expected. In the spring, Invaders From Beyond will be released, featuring an alien invasion with new public events and random encounters. In the summer, Test Your Metal will arrive, designed to test players’ armor, weapons, and courage in encounters with a dangerous enemy.
In the fall, Expeditions: The Pit is expected, adding a new type of quest to the game – expeditions, where players will journey to a new location, “The Pit,” which is post-nuclear Pittsburgh. This update will introduce new enemies and NPCs. Finally, at the end of the year, the last winter update, Nuka-World on Tour, will feature thematic “roadshow” public events and a new boss.
