EA Removes a Footballer from FIFA 22 Amidst Allegations of Sexual Violence

Electronic Arts has made the difficult decision to remove a player from FIFA 22 who played for Manchester City. He has been accused of multiple sexual assaults. It appears that the footballer won’t be able to extricate himself from this situation, and he will have to bid farewell to his career forever.

From October 2020 to 2021, there were a total of 4 sexual assault allegations made against Mendy. The footballer’s lawyer strongly disagrees with these accusations. The trial will take place in January 2022, and until then, the player will not be added to FIFA 22. FIFA 22 itself will be released on October 1st on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
