THE STEAM DECK INTERFACE WILL REPLACE THE BIG PICTURE IN STEAM

Valve has created an update for the Steam client. This was shared on the official Big Picture discussion by an employee of the company. Steam Deck interface is planned to update the Big Picture, and you do not need to install SteamOS to use it.

Release date of the updated interface is not known yet, but it is likely the system will be updated before the release of Steam Deck, as it is not a separate, but related to the client Steam platform.

The new Steam Deck will support the entire functionality of Steam. Since at the heart of the windows with the setting of Steam Input controllers there is a Big Picture, so if you make any changes to one, the other will be changed.

Big Picture has been functioning since 2012. Its main role is to make it easier to use Steam for TVs. The system has not changed in many years, which cannot be said about its client. Uncomfortable and outdated interface will finally get a new look, but the client must be prepared before the start of the new program, the company-creator emphasizes.
