Half-Life: Alyx – What’s Known About the Game

Today, Valve officially announced the news that Half-Life: Alyx is coming soon. This new VR project by the studio will be available to everyone on Thursday at 21:00 Moscow time.

Half-Life: Alyx – What is known about the game so far?

The entire storyline will take place shortly before the events of Half-Life 2, with players taking on the role of Alyx (the second main character from the second part of the game). There won’t be intense action, the game is more about exploring different locations.
The company wanted to release the game back in 2019, but didn’t manage to, which is not surprising for Valve! Therefore, the release date for Half-Life: Alyx is March 2020.

Half-Life: Alyx will be the first major franchise game since 2007, when the second episode – Half-Life 2 – was released, which is the last one to date.

On November 21, 2019 (Thursday), the gaming company Valve held a conference and announced the game Half-Life: Alyx with a full trailer. It was revealed that the game requires a VR headset and a powerful computer.

These are the minimum requirements, so if your computer doesn’t meet them, it’s probably better not to buy the game.
