Hogwarts Legacy became more popular than Fallout 4 in just one day

Despite exclusive early access, Legacy of Hogwarts is breaking records. On the day of its early access release, the Harry Potter spin-off broke the Fallout 4 record and became the most popular single-player game in Twitch history, garnering more than 1.3 million viewers on the streaming platform.

On February 8, “Hogwarts Legacy” eclipsed Fallout 4 on Steam and became the second most popular single-player game in the digital store’s history. According to SteamDB, “Legacy of Hogwarts” surpassed 489,000 concurrent players. Fallout 4’s record since its release in 2015 reached 472,962 users.

“Hogwarts Legacy” is currently in second place, while Cyberpunk 2077 still holds the record for the most simultaneous players with 830,387 set in 2020. However, “Hogwarts Legacy” is still only available to those who have pre-ordered the extended edition. The full release will take place on February 10, and it is likely that after that the game will set new records.
