Leaked info bodes well: Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws is expected on August 30.

Recently, information leaked online that a new adventure in the Star Wars universe called Star Wars Outlaws is expected to see the light of day by the end of summer, on August 30. An important detail about the release date was spotted in the description of the game’s trailer on Japanese YouTube.

The official premiere of the trailer is scheduled for 19:00 Moscow time today, where viewers will be expected to discover key plot points and gameplay demo. The event will probably also open up pre-order opportunities at game stores.

In Star Wars Outlaws, gamers will follow the story of Kay Vess, a brave smuggler who travels the vastness of the galaxy and confronts criminal syndicates. According to the story, the game is set in the period between the fifth and sixth episodes of the legendary “Star Wars” saga. Massive Entertainment team, which became famous thanks to Tom Clancy’s The Division series, is responsible for the development.

Note that not so long ago Ubisoft announced a summer event Ubisoft Forward, during which fans are promised to show not only Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red, but also presumably announce a remake of Splinter Cell, as indicated by various teasers.
