Standoff 2 Update 0.16.0

On July 22, 2021, fans of Standoff 2 received a new version 0.16.0, which is now available for free download. Notably, with the release of the updated version, Season 3 opened up, allowing every gamer to once again compete and climb the rankings to the top.

When comparing the new and old versions, it becomes clear that there are some pleasant additions. In this update, the developers listened to the wishes of their fans and implemented many of them.

Voice Chat is Now Available

Gamers had been waiting for an enabled voice chat for too long, and it finally happened. Now, every player can communicate live with their team members. The game became even more interesting and exciting with this simple addition. There’s no longer a need to use messaging apps; you can simply communicate your desires in the voice chat. Notably, voice chat is available even in the main menu, allowing you to invite team members or discuss strategies with like-minded players.

Enabling voice chat is straightforward: you go to the settings, find the “Sound” tab, and launch it.

New Modes Are No Problem

Changes affected the “Allies” mode, where 2v2 ranked matches are now available. If not long ago, advancing in the rankings required a 5v5 format, it’s now simplified, and you can do it in the new 2v2 mode. The new mode features almost lightning-fast match starts, which don’t last long.

A seasonal mode “Assault” has been introduced, promising valuable rewards in the form of gold, silver, and rare skins. The mode involves terrorists holding a secret base, where they gather confidential data. Special forces, on the other hand, try to eliminate enemy forces and neutralize the terrorist group. The game is incredibly captivating, and I’ve already tried it. To play the new mode, you need to use the new map “Hinoshiro.”

There’s an impressively sized map “Sakura” that supports traditional Japanese styling. It looks highly realistic, playing on it is enjoyable, and it offers interesting routes to explore.

Gamers can enjoy new weapons – the M4A1 rifle, M60 machine gun, and Tanto knife. They may not be particularly special, but their availability is still a welcome event.

A new Battle Pass, which everyone has been eagerly waiting for, has been added as well. It’s announced and therefore not an unexpected novelty.

Other things to enjoy include improved sound, impressive graphics, and animations. The developers have also fixed known issues.
