Today, July 21, 2021, a teaser of the Battlefield 2042 game was posted, which should show new redesigned maps. The teaser was posted by the developers on their official Twitter profile.

Insider Tom Henderson has previously spoken about rumors that there will be maps and a new mode. Maps will be from previous parts: Caspian Border (Battlefield 3), Metro (Battlefield 3), Arica Harbor (Battlefield: Bad Company 2), Siege of Shanghai (Battlefield 4), Locker (Battlefield 4) and Wake Island (Battlefield V).

There is no official list of maps yet, but in the near future everything will be revealed at the EA Play Live presentation, which, by the way, will be on July 22, 2021.

The Hazard Zone mode in Battlefield 2042 will strongly resemble the multiplayer shooter Escape from Tarkov. Players will have one life and a high risk of dying and losing everything.
