Fans of “Max Payne 3” can finally hear the full Russian dubbing thanks to Mechanics VoiceOver team. Enthusiasts have already repeatedly dubbed video games without a full localization, and now they are going to add Russian language to the last part of “Max Payne”. However, for this they need financial support from the community of players.
Mechanics VoiceOver has already opened fundraising for the dubbing of “Max Payne 3”. However, the exact amount needed for the project is still unknown. They also announced that they are choosing an actor for the role of Max – Maxim Dakhnenko, known as William Blaskowitz in “Wolfenstein” has already recorded a demo voice, and in May will audition Gennady Novikov, who voiced Sonny Forelli in “GTA Vice City”.
According to the Mechanics VoiceOver team, the success of “Max Payne 3” and “GTA San Andreas” has a direct impact on the possibility of the Russian language in other major Rockstar Games projects. So if you want to hear your favorite game in Russian, you can support this project.
