God of War 2018 is a popular continuation of the God of War game series. The game is released in the adventure action genre and is currently available for PS4 and PC (recently). This is the eighth installment of the game, which is a direct sequel to God of War III. If you have never played the game, the recent games in the series are based on Scandinavian mythology, although the previous ones were more focused on Greek mythology.
The most interesting thing is that starting from this installment, the gameplay has changed significantly. Yes, the game God of War: Ascension had a multiplayer component, but it still remained predominantly single-player. Now there are many RPG elements, and in addition, there are various fixed third-person cameras that allow you to explore the surrounding areas and open up many new possibilities.
In the final part of God of War III, Kratos, while fighting Zeus, took the magical Leviathan axe, which now helps him charge it with various elements to attack enemies. Since Kratos remains the main protagonist, you will mostly play as him in the game, but there will be moments where you can also play as Atreus, his son.
