Activision Blizzard has released its quarterly report on its official website, detailing its achievements in numbers and sharing future plans with fans of its games.

First and foremost, it’s worth noting that the audience of the Battle Royale game, Call of Duty: Warzone, has increased by a whopping 15 million gamers, now totaling 75 million players.

Additionally, the gaming developer’s revenue has surged, primarily driven by Modern Warfare, enabling the company to reap incredible benefits with a doubling of franchise sales.

Thanks to the success of all Activision Blizzard projects and partly due to Call of Duty: Warzone, the company’s overall profitability for the second quarter of this year amounted to nearly $2 billion USD.

Furthermore, 88% of the company’s revenue was directly derived from online stores. To put this success into perspective, consider the previous year when the developer garnered almost $1.5 billion in revenue for the same period.

On the Activision Blizzard website, they also announced a new version of Call of Duty, which is likely to be titled Black Ops — Cold War. Interestingly, its teasers are being unveiled directly within Warzone.
