How do the seasons work in Call of Duty?

I’m getting more and more posts in the comments that say something like “what’s a reboot?” and how did you play before in the first place? Well, let’s take a look at everything and get it down:

A season is 60-70 days long. The first season of MWII/Warzone 2.0/Warzone Mobile lasts from November 16 to the first of February, which is 77 days. Sometimes there are delays in the release of seasons and then the season lasts longer, such as was the case with the second season of Vanguard, that is, the first lasted longer because the second was delayed.
Battle Skip – absolutely always lasts as long as the season. Right now the timer in the battle pass shows 160+ days, but that’s a bug.
The season reboot is a big content update that adds at least 1 gun, 1 operator, a new map for multiplayer, something for Warzone. For example in the current season reboot, which will happen December 14, judging by the road map, we expect: the first raid (new cooperative mode for MWII), a new map for MWII), Chimera assault rifle, 2h operator Gaza and Klaus.
A mid-season update is less than a reboot, in my memory there were 2 of these in the first and fifth seasons of Vanguard. There can either be a reboot or a mid-season update, they can’t be together.

When does the content appear? – Almost all content appears at the start of the season, on the reboot, or in the middle of the season. The battle pass is only updated at the start of the season. Some content, may appear in between, such as maps, modes, weapons, and operator releases. New sets in the store appear throughout the season.
