Dupreeh Raises $145k to Fight Childhood Cancer!

Player from Team Vitality in CS:GO, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, has participated in a fundraiser of one million Danish kroner (about $145,000) for the “Rak ikke for Børn” (Cancer Not for Children) foundation. As reported by the esports agency DayZero on Twitter, Rasmussen and other esports athletes had previously joined the charitable initiative Clutch Cancer, aimed at fighting cancer.

As part of the campaign, each participant selected a weapon with a StatTrak skin. For every kill with a rifle or pistol made between May 1st and June 1st, they donated €0.1 to the foundation. The first season of the charitable campaign raised over $2.8 thousand.

It’s worth recalling that in February 2019, before the start of Intel Extreme Masters Season XIII — Katowice Major 2019, dupreeh’s father passed away from cancer. At that time, Rasmussen became the Major champion and dedicated his victory to his late father.

This news will be of interest to gaming enthusiasts who follow the lives and achievements of esports athletes, as well as those who support charitable actions.
