Dead Island 2 has been moved from February to April 28, 2023.

Dambuster Studios has announced that the zombie long-running Dead Island 2 will be released a little later. The release date has been delayed by about three months.

According to the developers, they are not happy about this fact either. Apparently, production is already at the finish line and extra time is needed for polishing. Make sure the game comes out in a way we can be proud of. Thank you to everyone who has been waiting for action for years. “Thank you for being with us,” the message reads.

As a reminder, Dead Island 2 was introduced back during E3 2014, and it was originally supposed to be released in 2015. However, the project had problems during development, which caused it to take a very long time to be ready. The collaborative action game was announced in August 2022, and the new release date was chosen as February 3, 2023.

Now Dead Island 2 will be released on April 28 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS3 and Xbox. A fresh trailer and gameplay will be presented on December 6 on Twitch, YouTube and the game’s official website.
