Rockstar to Release Remastered Versions of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas on Unreal Engine.

Updates for the GTA game versions have been a long-standing topic of discussion. Many fans have been eager to see their favorite games from a different perspective, with updated graphics, new mechanics, and gameplay features. And very soon, this will become a reality; according to some reports, they are expected to be released by the end of October or early November.

The updates will cover three games from the series. Each game is set to be powered by the Unreal Engine, which will significantly enhance the graphics. Those who have seen the potential results say that the games will simply be updated to a modern style. The interface will also see improvements, without any drastic changes, just a refined look.

The task is being undertaken by Rockstar Dundee, a company with experience in game development and several quality products under its belt.

The games will be multi-platform, meaning they can be launched on all popular platforms. Even iOS and Android users will be able to enjoy this update. However, owners of phones and computers may have to wait a bit longer than others to test the reissue.

Talks about reissuing these games have been ongoing for a while, but actual implementation had been elusive. There was also an idea to offer the games for free to users purchasing versions of Grand Theft Auto V. However, this idea was quickly abandoned in favor of selling the reissue of the three GTA parts as a separate product.

It was previously reported that Rockstar plans to update Red Dead Redemption as well, but currently, this information is difficult to confirm.
