The size of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare will significantly decrease with the release of the update on March 31
Today on the Activision Blizzard developers’ blog it was reported that a big update called “Season 2: Reloaded” will be released for the shooters Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. The main changes will be that the overall size of the game will be completely changed.
According to the Russian publisher, the game data has been optimized, and the game sets for the individual modes have also been redesigned to keep the size the same. Now users of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be able to decide for themselves which elements to remove and which ones not to remove from the shooter. Thanks to this update, Call of Duty: Warzone as a whole will become smaller by 15 GB, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – by 34 GB.
Activision Blizzard notes that the update will weigh only 15GB for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and 52-57.8GB for Call of Duty: Warzone, or 133.6GB for both games. Subsequent updates will be even smaller.
Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S.
