Counter-Strike 2 possible release date

Expected release date of the open beta testing of the new game from Valve, Counter-Strike 2, was announced by analyst Duncan Thorin Shields. According to him, anyone will be able to take part in the game as early as September or October 2023.

This means that the world of CS:GO will have more tournaments and events from BLAST than we thought, as Duncan Thorin Shields points out. This is great news for fans of the game who are looking forward to diving into the new competitions.

Valve originally announced the start of open beta testing in the summer. If there were changes in plans, then the full release of Counter-Strike 2 can be expected in late 2023, or possibly as early as 2024.

Based on logic, if open beta testing starts in September, the full release of the game may not take place until late this year or early next year, as noted by Duncan Thorin Shields. Thus, the CS:GO story is not yet complete, and there are many more exciting tournaments to come.

The closed beta testing of Counter-Strike 2 started on March 22, but unfortunately not all active players received an invitation.
