Daniil “Putrick” Abdrakhmanov and Yegor “Swizzy” Lyusiko, renowned in the Fortnite world as esports athletes from Russia, made a significant splash by securing a massive prize of $200,000. However, according to a report, Epic Games decided that players from Russia aren’t eligible to receive the cash reward.

“If you are an individual residing in Turkey or Russia (each a ‘Prize Restricted Country’), you acknowledge and agree (…) that you are not entitled to receive any prizes from the events.”

An intriguing twist arose when “Putrick” claimed he was in Belarus during the tournament. Additionally, he mentioned having a bank account in Kazakhstan.
