All Revenue from Fortnite from March 20 to April 3, 2022, Will Go to Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine.

Epic Games has announced that it will donate all proceeds from its game Fortnite during the period from March 20 to April 3, 2022, to humanitarian aid for people affected by the war in Ukraine. Additionally, Xbox will participate in this initiative and also contribute all its Fortnite revenue for this period, which will help raise more funds.

The humanitarian organizations receiving the collected funds provide immediate and emergency assistance, including medical care, food, clean water, essential supplies, legal counseling, and shelter to people in need.

Epic will allocate all purchases made in Fortnite with real money during the period from March 20 to April 3, 2022, for humanitarian aid for Ukrainians. This includes V-Bucks packs, Fortnite Crew subscriptions, gift battle passes, and cosmetic bundles sold for real money (e.g., “Void Traveler”).

Purchases of cosmetic in-game items or V-Bucks cards from retail stores that are activated in the game within the specified period will also be considered. Purchases made with V-Bucks will not be counted since V-Bucks is not real currency.

Epic’s entire revenue generated by Fortnite, including the activation of codes from retail stores, worldwide during the specified period, will be contributed to humanitarian aid, excluding taxes, third-party platform fees, or refunds. Microsoft will direct all the net revenue from the sale of Fortnite content in the Microsoft Store in all countries where Fortnite is sold as assistance.”
