EVGA to Replace RTX 3090 GPUs: Issue with Bricked Graphics Cards from MMORPG New World Solved.

In the internationally renowned publication PC Gamer, there is news that all RTX 3090 graphics cards that have been affected by the actions of the MMORPG New World will be REPLACED. Notably, EVGA has personally confirmed this information. The exact timing of when this will happen is currently unknown.

Amazon has also not remained passive in addressing this issue. They quickly announced the release of a patch that limits the frame rate in the menus. An interesting fact is that these restrictions do not in any way affect gameplay. However, it’s worth noting that the company had previously stated that the game was entirely safe and that using the patch was optional.

In a message from the YouTuber JayzTwoCents, it is mentioned that EVGA plans to replace all the burnt-out graphics cards, and this will happen very soon. The YouTuber does not cite specific sources but mentions having contacts within the company.

So once again, the issue definitely is with SOMETHING in the way the game New World is rendering. This ISNT a 3090'exclusive issue! PERIOD!!

However, there remains another issue – graphics card burnout is not exclusive to the RTX 3090. What to do about this issue is currently unknown, as mentioned by JayzTwoCents, because some other models have also encountered a similar problem.
