Release schedule for new Marvel movies

Marvel movies remain one of the most popular movies at the worldwide box office. It’s no wonder, as audiences can see their favorite classic comic book superheroes on the big screen! But the development of Marvel movie universe does not stop there. The studio has recently announced the upcoming projects that will appear in cinemas in the next 5 years. That’s why we decided to make a detailed calendar with the announced projects, so you can prepare for the screenings in advance!

Marvel Cinematic Universe

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has already given viewers 29 feature films. And to make it easier to follow everything that happens, the creators use saga terms and phases during the announcement. In this way, you can track at what stage of development is this or that plot. Fans already know that each saga consists of three phases.

The first three phases were timed to the Infinity Saga, during which the superheroes fought dangerous villains. And at the very end, an epic battle with Thanos awaited them. Development of the saga lasted for 11 years: from 2008 to 2019.

Now the Multiverse Saga has launched, which dates back to 2021. The creators have officially announced that there will also be three phases in this saga. But while viewers used to be able to figure out exactly when a particular phase was set to end, it’s now harder to do so. The current idea is to blur the boundaries of what is happening.

Phase Four

The fourth phase or the first part of the Multiverse Saga is now nearing completion. It includes six full-length films. This is also the first time the creators have included several series and one special. The finale of the first phase of the second saga should be the film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.

Phase Five

The fifth phase will begin in 2023. The creators are planning to release six more feature films, as well as several TV series. All the projects are already known and are shown on the calendar. Of interest: Ant-Man and the Wasp will return to the screen, and for the first time in years fans will see a new Blade! The fifth phase is scheduled to end in 2024.

Phase Six

The last part of the Multiverse Saga will bring all the storylines to their logical conclusion. But the names of most of the projects remain a secret for now. So far, we know that Fantastic Four, Deadpool 3 and other projects will appear on the screens. The last film will be released in 2026, and it should tell fans a new story about the X-Men.
