Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon: Zero Dawn became a cult hit during the PS4 era—it received rave reviews and attracted more players over time. All of this allowed the studio to confidently start working on a sequel. 

The new game promises to be one of Sony’s best exclusives on PS5 and PS4. Updated graphics, a vast and rich open world, new mechanical monsters, and gameplay features—all of this will be available to every gamer this year. 

God of War: Ragnarok

The top couldn’t be complete without Kratos. Perhaps some gamers, when ranking the most anticipated games on PS5, would put the continuation of the God of War story and his son Atreus at the top. The developers will have a tough time due to high expectations that formed after the release of the reboot. But the next story promises to be just as captivating. 

In the trailers, we’ve already seen the mighty and fearsome Thor, the cheerful Mimir, and other figures from ancient legends. But it’s still unclear how much the gameplay will differ from the first installment. Judging by the footage shown, we can expect more of an expansion of the story than major gameplay changes. Everything will fall into place soon. 

Marvel’s Wolverine

The game is set to be a PS5 exclusive and has already caused excitement with one of its cinematic trailers. No one doubts that the studio will come up with something interesting, but it’s still unclear how they will differentiate it from similar Spider-Man mechanics. Moreover, Wolverine’s story is clearly not about a student who likes to crack jokes.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

The game incorporates several genres: intense action, horror elements, and the ability to upgrade skills like in an RPG. Let’s not forget about the old-fashioned plot, and in the end, we get something extremely intriguing.     

Final Fantasy XVI

Everyone has heard of this series. And few doubted that it would come to PS5. But will the game manage to surprise fans who have grown accustomed to new stories about saving the world? We’ll find out this spring!

Gran Turismo 7

Sony’s signature racing game returns in the next numbered installment. The graphics are already pleasing to the eye in the trailers alone, but what have the developers prepared for us in terms of gameplay? So far, there has been talk of dynamic weather effects, increased realism, and, most importantly, avoiding the path FIFA took.

DeathVerse

A highly entertaining adventure for owners of PS4 and PS5. The game about survival in an arena with multiple different modes has already led many players to find companions for co-op play. For now, let’s watch the trailer again and enjoy the graphical effects.
